Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant

Based in Redbridge

32.5 hours per week

LBR Scale 3, Scale Point 5–6

£29,436 – £29,856 FTE per annum (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and inclusive secondary school within a well-established Multi Academy Trust for a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and supporting young people to achieve their full potential within a supportive learning environment. The role would particularly suit individuals considering a future career in teaching or education.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience and/or qualifications in supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
• Be able to support students both in mainstream classroom settings and through small group interventions
• Demonstrate a friendly, approachable, and professional manner
• Work effectively using their own initiative
• Show strong behaviour management and communication skills
