Vision for Education are recruiting Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist schools supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASC, SEMH, SLD and PMLD.

The Role

• Support pupils with additional needs in and out of the classroom
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development
• Assist with behaviour, engagement and emotional support
• Help implement structured routines and learning activities
• Support students with a range of needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.

• Final-year or postgraduate students of Childhood, Youth & Education Studies
• Passionate about working with children and young people
• Patient, resilient and proactive
• Strong communicators who can build positive relationships

✔ No school experience required – your degree is highly relevant
