About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Draughtsperson with strong SolidWorks experience to join a growing team within the composites and advanced materials sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative, high-performance products across a range of industries including aerospace, automotive, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks

• Interpret engineering specifications and translate concepts into detailed designs

• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams

• Revise and update drawings in line with project requirements and feedback

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and manufacturing constraints

• Support prototype development and production processes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson or similar role

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)

• Experience working within composites or advanced materials environments

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Desirable

• Knowledge of composite layup techniques or tooling design

• Experience with PDM systems

• Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
