HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER | CHESTERFIELD | £35,000 per annum DOE | PERMANENT
Full time: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – fully site based

KPI Recruiting are proud to be working in partnership with a highly established client who are seeking a motivated Health & Safety professional to join the business on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a hands-on role, acting as first point of contact for health and safety matters, with a drive to promote continuous improvement across the business.

Please note, regular travel between the two sites in Chesterfield and Matlock is required - please only apply should you be able to travel between two sites. 

You will be:

• Working closely with the Group H&S Manager and Site Manager to ensure day to day H&S operations are maintained
• Monitoring KPIs against targets – advising site team of appropriate action required
• Offering guidance to the Site Manager and employees in the business, in line with H&S guidelines
• Contributing to monthly H&S meetings to obtain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment
• Supporting with the implementation of environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 9001)
• Supporting with internal audits, acting as first point of contact for external audits
