Our client, the South African Sugar Association (SASA) has a permanent opportunity available for an Agricultural Training Instructor at their Shukela Training Centre (STC). The position is based in Mount Edgecombe and will report to the Agricultural Training Manager The Shukela Training Centre (STC) is a well-regarded training institution established about 50 years ago that delivers high quality engineering & agricultural training to learners in the sugar industry and other industries. The successful incumbent will provide agricultural skills training to learners enrolled in various accredited and non-accredited courses plus short skills courses offered by the Agricultural Training Department. The Training Instructor may be tasked to do training on customer sites, especially in sugarcane growing regions of KZN and Mpumalanga and onsite at Shukela Training Centre Mount Edgecombe or Mtunzini campus. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the Agricultural Training Manager with a special focus on the effective delivery and implementation of the Junior Certificate Course (JCC) in Sugarcane Agriculture as well as Plant Production Learnerships.
