Recruit4staff are representing an established business in their search for a Shot Blaster to work in Wirral

Job Details:

• £15.00 - £16.00 per hr plus Overtime paid at £22.50 - £24.00 per hr 
• Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 42.5-hour week
• Duration: Permanent
• Plenty of overtime. OTE £40,000 +
• Benefits: Standard Pension, 28 days holiday (including BH), Free Parking, Overtime Paid at x 1.5

Job Role: As a shot Blaster, you’ll ensure all metal surfaces are properly prepared before painting. Your work will involve sanding, grinding, and polishing various components, operating blasting equipment within a large booth, and applying primers to achieve a high-quality finish. This hands-on role suits someone with strong attention to detail and experience in surface preparation and spraying.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Wet Spraying experience 
• Shot blasting experience using handheld hose within booths
• Experience in surface preparation techniques
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQs in Vehicle Repair (any level)
• NVQs in Engineering Disciplines
