TeacherActive is proud to be working with Welsh-medium Primary Schools in Powys, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant. The school provides a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, independence and Welsh language skills throughout their education.

TeacherActive is looking to take on a motivated Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities, provide additional classroom support and encourage pupils to develop their confidence and abilities through the medium of Welsh.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh, both verbally and in writing

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

• Experience supporting children within a Primary School or educational setting

• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum and classroom expectations

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
