Recruit4staff are representing a leading mechanical & civils contractor in their search for a Civils Operative (Multi-Trader) to work in Widnes

Job Details:

  • Pay: £24.05 per hour
  • Hours of Work: 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 15:00 Friday
  • Duration: Temporary (4-week trial leading to long-term work)
  • Quarterly bonus 

Job Role: The Civils Operative (Multi-Trader) will be covering all aspects of building work on manufacturing sites including excavation/underground works, drainage works, concreting, joinery, office refurbs and general building works. Travelling from Widnes to sites across the North West working as part of a small Civils team, this position involves travel to various local sites and requires a versatile approach to civil groundworks and multi-trade tasks, including machine operation.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience as a multi-trade builder or civils worker
  • SCATTS or CSCS certified
  • Full UK driving licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • C&G/NVQ in a construction-related trade
  • Skills in joinery, plastering, bricklaying, curbing, paving, concreting, slabbing
  • MEWP or NPORS dumper licence

Commutable From: Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, St Helens, Warrington
