What will you be doing?

As a SEND teacher, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs, creating a positive and structured learning environment where they can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

• Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health challenges

• Building trusting relationships and encouraging positive behaviour

• Creating a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment

• Adapting teaching approaches to help pupils overcome barriers to learning

• Working collaboratively with support staff and other education professionals

• Celebrating progress in both learning and personal development

Who are we looking for?

We'd love to hear from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs

• Are patient, adaptable and confident managing challenging behaviour

• Can build strong relationships with pupils who may need additional emotional support

• Have a creative and flexible approach to teaching

• Are passionate about inclusive education and helping every pupil succeed
