TeacherActive is proud to be working with a village primary school in Carmarthenshire who are looking for a Welsh Speaking Classroom Assistant to provide short-term cover. The school is looking for someone who can confidently communicate in Welsh and provide effective support to pupils throughout the school day.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Classroom Assistant on a temporary, day-to-day basis with an ASAP start. The successful Welsh Speaking Classroom Assistant will support pupils with their learning, work alongside the class teacher and help to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The successful Welsh Speaking Classroom Assistant will have:

• The ability to communicate confidently and fluently in Welsh
• Experience supporting children within an educational setting
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff
• Flexibility and adaptability when providing day-to-day classroom cover
