TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Frome supporting students aged 3 to 13. The school offers modern educational and community facilities, including a sports hall, MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) and specialist creative spaces, providing an engaging environment for students to learn and develop.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, temporary basis starting ASAP. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide general support to students, helping with a comprehensive mix of academic, physical, social and emotional needs to ensure pupils are supported to thrive throughout their school day.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• Experience providing academic, physical, social or emotional support
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient and supportive approach
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of students
• A positive and proactive attitude
