Job Title: Manufactoring Leader

Job description:

• Lead and manage shift operations across multiple production lines, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
• Take full accountability for shift performance, driving efficiency improvements, waste reduction, and optimal labour utilisation.
• Ensure all machinery and production lines operate at optimal operational settings to maximise performance and minimise waste.
• Oversee and inspect the completion of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and 5S tasks across all lines, ensuring standards are met and issues are escalated.
• Coordinate start-up and shutdown activities before and after production, including completion of all required paperwork and full shutdown procedures, ensuring equipment is turned off when not required to support energy efficiency.
• Deliver effective and structured shift handovers to ensure continuity of performance between shifts.
• Ensure the shift delivers the planned workload in line with the production plan (SFDC or equivalent).
• Resolve non-major mechanical and operational issues, escalating to Engineering or the Shift Manager where required.
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and operational teams, ensuring consistent application of site standards and procedures.
• Create and sustain a multi-skilled, highly capable workforce through cross-training and skills development to enable flexibility across job roles.

Annual leave and pay:

• £13.61 increasing to £15.62 upon successful completion of training  
• Weekly pay
• 28 days (2 weeks notice needed to book a holiday)
