TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND provision based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher. The provision supports children and young people with a range of additional needs and is looking for a confident, patient and adaptable teacher who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The provision is looking to take on a SEND Teacher for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils from primary through to secondary age, delivering engaging lessons while providing consistent behaviour support and adapting teaching to meet individual SEND needs.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across primary and secondary age groups
• Experience managing challenging behaviour and providing behaviour support
• Team Teach training is desirable
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
