Warehouse Operative - Rugby

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

This would suit applicants who have worked as an Order Picker, Goods in Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay:

• £16.35 per hour
• £24.53 per hour overtime rate

Shift Pattern:

• Sunday to Thursday
• 22:00 to 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative are:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating LLOP equipment safely and effectively
• Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks
• Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
• Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch
• Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse
• Ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A basic level of English, both written and spoken
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience using handheld scanners
• Experience operating LLOP equipment

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support and development
