Aftersales/Service Manager, Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with one of Yorkshires most successful and long established dealership groups. Due to expansion, our client seek an experienced Aftersales/Service Manager to work from their Wakefield site.

Aftersales/Service Manager package:

• Excellent starting salary of £45,000 per annum

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the overall service department, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues
• Achieve service department budget and customer service targets
• Ensure accurate job costing and invoicing
• Control parts and materials to ensure profitability
• Improve customer satisfaction and retention
• Manage and develop a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Advisors
• Work closely with brand partners and meet brand standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in a current/recent branded dealership 
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to the industry’s equipment or machinery
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
• Strong ability to upsell services or products effectively while maintaining customer trust
• Experience with cash handling procedures in a retail or service setting
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, records, and reports
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and vendors
• Ability to analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement
