A Fantastic opportunity had arisen at our clients based Northampton for a Head Chef to work in the kitchen of their busy country pub. The pub is a popular venue all year round with both indoor and outdoor seating in summer months. The pub also has a busy events business with with celebrations and parties. This is a key role in the kitchen as you will lead the kitchen team preparing meals using fresh and seasonal products. The GM is looking for a organised and competent Head Chef who is able to perform full kitchen management duties. On site live in is available for the role.

The Role

• Working in the kitchen using fresh, seasonal produce
• Serving large volumes of guests each week
• Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs
• Preparing meals for service
• Kitchen Management duties - paperwork, ordering , GP

The Person

• You will already be an experienced Head Chef or Sous Chef on promotion
• Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills
• Experience of working in fresh food kitchens ideally with with high volumes
• Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
