Salary: £90 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support mainstream primary schools across LS11, LS12 and LS13 from September.

Schools regularly require a Primary Teaching Assistant to cover staff absence and provide additional classroom support. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant could work across whole classes, small groups or on a 1:1 basis depending on the requirements of each school.

You can tell us which days you want to work and which areas of Leeds you are happy to travel to.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children

• UK school experience desirable

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable

• SEND or 1:1 experience advantageous

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A flexible approach to work
