Early Years Teacher

Milk education are supporting an inclusive small setting in the L27 area, supporting children across EYFS and KS1 with autism. Our team is passionate about creating a positive, structured, and child‑centred learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join us full time after the Easter break. You will work with small groups of EYFS/KS1 children with autism, delivering creative, engaging learning experiences aligned with their developmental needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, differentiated Early Years and KS1 lessons
  • Support children with a range of social‑communication needs
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to create a calm, consistent environment
  • Use a nurturing, child‑centred approach to behaviour and learning
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, observations, and progress monitoring
  • Build strong relationships with families and promote inclusive practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS
  • Experience in EYFS or KS1 (SEND experience desirable but not essential)
  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Confidence in adapting the curriculum for children with autism
  • A commitment to teamwork and reflective practice
