An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, recently refurbished small animal practice in Shropshire. This role is ideal for a veterinary professional with a strong surgical bias who is looking to take ownership of their caseload while continuing to develop their clinical expertise.

This position offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing the successful candidate to shape their own clinical direction and build a rewarding caseload. The Practice

This well-established practice has recently undergone refurbishment and is conveniently located just a short walk from the train station. Facilities include:

• Three spacious consulting rooms
• Large prep area and fully equipped operating theatre
• Ultrasound and dental equipment
• Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs

The Role

• 4-day working week
• One in three Saturdays
• No out-of-hours
• Strong emphasis on clinical freedom and case continuity

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must be qualified Veterinary Surgeons and hold MRCVS status. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong surgical skillset and passion for clinical excellence

• A commitment to continuous professional development

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding clinical care through consultations and surgical procedures

Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients

Manage cases to the highest clinical and regulatory standards
