TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist setting in Frome that provides a profoundly personalised, inclusive and nurturing education for pupils with complex and severe learning needs. The setting supports pupils aged 4 to 19 years old and is committed to providing an environment where every pupil can develop and achieve their full potential.

The setting is looking to take on a full-time LSA on a temporary basis from September. The successful LSA will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties / PMLD, carrying out standard LSA duties and supporting pupils to engage positively with their learning and development.

The successful LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Experience with autism, physical disabilities and/or PMLD is desirable
• A patient and nurturing approach to supporting pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
• A positive and proactive attitude
