Milk Education is currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. Working alongside experienced teaching staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years learning activities.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage development.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication skills through play-based learning.
• Observe pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children in developing confidence and independence.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience working with children within an EYFS or primary school setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
