We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking GP practice in Mansfield that is looking to welcome a Practice Nurse to its friendly and growing clinical team.

The Role

You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, providing a broad range of primary care nursing services and managing your own clinics with a high level of autonomy.

Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

• Long-term condition management

• Diabetes and respiratory reviews

• Hypertension and cardiovascular disease monitoring

• Childhood and adult immunisations

• Cervical screening

• Wound care and dressings

• Health checks and preventative care

• ECGs and routine observations

• Venepuncture

• B12 injections

• Travel health

• Patient education and lifestyle advice

• Supporting clinical audits and quality improvement

• Working collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, HCAs, pharmacists and the wider practice team

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse who is confident working autonomously within a primary care environment.

You should ideally have experience in:

• Chronic disease management

• Immunisations

• Cervical screening

• Wound care

• Venepuncture

• General treatment room duties

The practice would also welcome nurses with additional specialist interests or qualifications.

Most importantly, you will be patient-focused, approachable and committed to delivering high-quality primary care.
