People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Order Picker, Dispatch Operative, Logistics Operative, or General Warehouse Operative.
• £13.27 per hour • Overtime paid at £19.91 per hour after 40 hours worked per week • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently • Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries (Goods In) • Preparing, labelling and wrapping goods ready for dispatch • Loading and unloading vehicles safely • Moving and organising stock within the warehouse • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely • Using hand-held scanners and warehouse equipment where required • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment • Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills
As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will need:
• A basic level of spoken and written English • Good communication skills • A reliable and punctual approach to work • A positive attitude and willingness to learn • Good attention to detail • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential • Experience using hand-held scanners or similar warehouse equipment is beneficial • Experience within Picking, Packing, Goods In, Goods Out or Dispatch would be advantageous
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
