We're looking for a passionate Development Technologist to join our growing New Product Development team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and want to be involved in every stage of the product journey—from kitchen concept to supermarket shelf—this could be the perfect opportunity.

This role would suit a Food Science, Food Technology or Nutrition graduate looking to build on their industry experience, as well as an experienced Development Technologist ready for their next challenge.

Working with leading retail and foodservice customers, you'll support the delivery of exciting new products, coordinate factory trials, develop recipes and packaging, and ensure every launch is delivered on time, to specification and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support new product development projects from concept through to launch.
• Prepare product samples for customer submissions.
• Coordinate factory trials, product testing and shelf-life evaluations.
• Produce specifications, artwork approvals and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Technical, Operations, Packaging and Supply Chain teams.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and packaging partners to keep projects on track.
• Ensure all products meet food safety, quality and legal requirements.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related discipline.
• Experience within food manufacturing, NPD or a placement year in the food industry.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• HACCP knowledge is desirable, along with experience of packaging development or artwork approval.
