General Manager - Adventure & Leisure

Salary:                £50,000 - £55,000

Location:             London and Liverpool

I am looking for a self-motivated, results-driven General Manager to lead an exciting adventure and leisure operation. This pivotal role combines commercial growth, operational excellence, H+S, and the delivery of extraordinary customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Take full ownership of site P&L, budgets, resources, and financial reporting.
• Develop local marketing plans, partnerships, and events.
• Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and operational delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop a passionate, high-performing team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure robust safety, compliance, and risk-management standards.

About you

• At least two years' General Manager experience within leisure, hospitality, or a similar multi-channel business.
• Proven success in growing sales and profitability.
• Strong Health and Safety experience is essential.
• Commercially focused, confident with financial data, and highly organised.
• An engaging communicator with excellent leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with large projects, capital investments, or seasonal teams is desirable.
• A passion for adventure and creating memorable customer experiences.
