Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer 2,3 axis – Fanuc – Haas 

Job Type: Permanent 

Location: Oldham 

Salary: £40k - £45k 

Overtime: Widely Available all at x1.5 x2 

Early Shift: 7:45 – 4:30pm - early finish Friday. 

Designing, manufacturing, and building precision components for the defence sector, our client are leaders in their industry. Backed by a global organization, we are now seeking new and experienced CNC Turner/Millers to join the business.

Job description 

The role of CNC Turning, setter operator, will include the following duties:

• Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc/Haas Controls
• Load tooling with correct offsets
• Upload Programs
• Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc
• Or Haas controls
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ideally having an engineering apprenticeship, however, experience is the overriding factor.
• Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
• Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
• Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
• Professional and self-motivated attitude.
• Good organisational & time management skills.
