CNC Miller (3 Axis) – Siemens Controls
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £18.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
The Company
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high-quality precision components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled machining team.

The Role
This is a permanent days-based position working on a variety of precision components. The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one-off prototypes through to batches of around 10-off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities
⦁ Setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
⦁ Working with Siemens controls.
⦁ Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
⦁ Manufacturing one-off and small batch components.
⦁ Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
⦁ Carrying out self-inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
⦁ Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements
⦁ Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
⦁ Good knowledge of Siemens controls.
⦁ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Experience producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
⦁ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
⦁ Experience within a precision engineering environment.
