Pay: Up to £25.00 per hour DOE | £55,000+ per year

Hours: Monday to Friday | Early and Late Shifts

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter looking for a well-paid late shift role in Hemel Hempstead?

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter to work on a range of HGVs and trailers, carrying out diagnostics, repairs and maintenance while earning up to £55,000+ per year.

The successful HGV Technician will join a supportive team with access to overtime, career development and ongoing technical training.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, you will:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• Carry out trailer repairs and associated vehicle work
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for this HGV Technician role, you will need:

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Trailer repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
