Maintenance Engineer

Huntingdon | Monday-Friday Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with strong CNC and automation experience looking to join a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment?

This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery, automated production systems and complex engineering equipment, where you'll play a key role in maintaining performance, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement.

The role:

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across CNC machines and production equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on CNC equipment, automated systems and associated machinery.
• Maintaining and improving CNC machinery performance, uptime and reliability.
• Supporting breakdown recovery across CNC, robotics and production systems.
• Working with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems alongside CNC equipment.
• Using CMMS systems to log and track maintenance activity.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects focused on CNC and production efficiency.

What we're looking for:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent).
• Strong experience working with CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills on CNC and automated equipment.
• Experience with PPM schedules and breakdown maintenance on CNC machines.
• Understanding of pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems supporting CNC operations.
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
