Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a busy engineering team working on a variety of technical and infrastructure-related projects.

This role would suit a detail-oriented CAD professional with experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation who is looking to further develop their technical drawing skills within an engineering environment.

CAD Technician Role:

As a CAD Technician, you will support the production and modification of technical drawings across a range of engineering projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate, high-quality drawings are produced in line with project and company standards.

The role offers exposure to varied engineering projects alongside ongoing technical development opportunities.

CAD Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation and modification of CAD drawings.

   

• Support engineering teams with technical drawing updates and revisions.

   

• Ensure drawings comply with internal CAD standards and project requirements.

   

• Assist with project administration and document management tasks.

   

• Issue drawings and technical documentation where required.

   

• Work with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related software packages.

   

• Support multiple live engineering projects across the business.

   

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.

   

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

   

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

   

• Strong IT and organisational skills.

   

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

   

Desirable:

• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience would be advantageous.

   

• Engineering, CAD, Construction, or Technical qualification/background.

   

• Previous experience working within an engineering or infrastructure environment.
