This exciting primary school near Birkenhead is looking to secure the services of an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis for the rest of the academic year. The role will be to work closely with children across the school who require additional support due to additional needs as well as behavioural issues that may be holding them back. For the right candidate, the role will extend from September 2026 on a longer-term basis.

The school is located ten-minutes from Liverpool city centre. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Part Time, you will be tasked with providing support to the class teacher in the setting up and running of lessons and activities. You will work with children in group and one-to-one settings to provide support and encouragement. At times, you will work with children who may have fallen behind with work or require the additional support to complete the tasks set. You will also work closely with children who have additional needs and require support throughout the school day.
