We're recruiting a Graduate EAL Teaching Assistant for a vibrant, multicultural Bradford secondary school, supporting pupils whose first language is not English to access the curriculum and flourish in the classroom.

The Role – Graduate EAL Teaching Assistant

You'll work closely with subject teachers across a range of departments, supporting EAL students to access challenging secondary curriculum content and build their confidence in academic English. You'll deliver targeted interventions, adapt resources and ensure every student feels included and able to succeed.

This role is perfect for graduates considering a PGCE, Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychology or any child-focused postgraduate course.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate EAL Teaching Assistant

• Degree in any subject; Linguistics, Modern Languages, Education or Social Sciences preferred but not essential
• Experience working with children or young people desirable
• Patient, empathetic and culturally aware
• Fluency in a second language desirable but not essential
• Enthusiastic, committed and proactive
• Must have the right to work in the UK
