Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Workshop Driver to join the team. This is an outdoor position where you will be responsible for identifying, sorting, documenting and allocating loose item packs to registration-specific vehicles within the vehicle compound.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, identify and allocate loose item packs to registration-specific vehicles accurately.
• Sort and verify loose items to ensure they match the correct vehicle and documentation.
• Complete all required documentation, including recording and logging items on the loose items inventory check sheet.
• Ensure correct handling, storage and protection of loose items prior to and during allocation.
• Maintain accurate records to support vehicle processing and audit requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager and other operational teams regarding item status, discrepancies or issues.
• Drive vehicles within the compound when required, strictly following all compound driving guidelines and safety procedures.
• Report any missing, damaged or incorrect items promptly in line with company procedures.

The primary function of this role operates outdoors in a large automotive compound facility. Its associated duties are conducted in varying weather conditions throughout the year (PPE is provided to support such tasks). As you will be expected to store and transport vehicles in an outdoor logistics facility which also involves moderate amounts of general walking throughout the working day.

Who You Are:

• Must be over the age of 22 and hold a full driving licence, with no more than 6 pp / no DR10 Offences. 
• Previous experience with driving manual and automatic vehicles.
• Reliable and responsible, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
