And right now, we’re looking for an Operator 1. Based at our Capenhurst location, you’ll works as part of a flexible Day Operations team across all facilities in UCP to support tasks specific to the delivery of operational KPIs that ensure targeted outputs are achieved


What will your day look like?

• Understand and carry out tasks in line with approved procedures to ensure they are performed safely and in a consistent way.
• Understand and carry out activities identified in competency matrix that support efficient running of the facility.
• Be an active participant to promote Zero Harm initiative and thereby maintain a safe, healthy and secure working environment
• Self-management of training and identification of own training requirements, ensuring all training elements are completed on time.

What do you need to be great at this role?

• Process/Craft apprentice or equivalent process plant operating experience
• Ability to interpret and follow written procedures
• Fault finding and trouble shooting
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe operating conditions.
• IT literate to support use of Microsoft applications, SAP and other bespoke plant software
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team
