Job Title: Part-time Accounts Assistant

Location: Borough Green, Sevenoaks

Job Type: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

Salary: circa. £28,000 per year (pro-rata)

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be assisting a small and supportive business based in Sevenoaks, Kent who is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. They are a dynamic and growing company, committed to providing excellent service to their customers. 

My client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 22.5 hour contract (3 days a week). 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Updating ledgers and ensuring accurate financial records
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Reconciling service charges and ensuring timely payments
• Assisting with other financial tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• AAT or similar qualification desirable
