Azure Cloud Engineer – Leicester / Hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000

We’re partnered with a large retail customer, a FTSE 100 company, who is going through a period of growth and hiring for an Azure Cloud Engineer.The successful candidate would bring a variety of experience relating to Azure PaaS transformations or migration projects, IaaS builds and migrations and best practises around policy, security and compliance.  The role is mainly project focused and will require the ability to scope, design and build Azure environments to meet the businesses’ needs.

As the Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll predominantly be project focused with a small proportion of BAU responsibilities and will be required to be in the office once a week (Tuesday)

Essential Experience Required for the Azure Cloud Engineer:

• 3 years + within a Cloud / Azure specialist role
• Very familiar with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Azure Databricks Security and configuration 
• Azure Data Factory Configuration, Integration Self Hosted Runtime maintenance and logging 
• Azure IaaS and PaaS, Azure Storage, Azure Migrate
• Azure Networking (Express Route, Virtual Networks, ASG / NGS, Azure Firewall)
• Understanding of change management process
• High standard of documentation
• Mentoring of junior team members and self-motivation towards personal development
• Understanding and delivery of high-availability requirements
