Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a leading organisation within the infrastructure and operational services sector in the recruitment of an HR & Payroll Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of HR and payroll activities across a multi-site operation spanning Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a small HR, Recruitment and Payroll team while acting as a trusted advisor to managers across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support employee relations activity, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
  • Manage and develop a team of HR, Recruitment and Payroll professionals.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Partner with managers on people-related matters and workforce planning.
  • Ensure HR and payroll compliance, reporting and record management.
  • Support organisational change, engagement initiatives and business improvement projects.

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR Manager, People Manager or HR & Payroll role.
  • Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
  • Hands-on payroll experience.
  • Experience working within a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPD qualification and Sage Payroll experience would be advantageous.
