TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Flying Start setting based in the NP19 area of Newport, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. The setting focuses on supporting young children's early development, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can learn, play and develop essential skills.

The setting is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a long-term, part-time basis, starting after October half term. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 11:30am, term time only, supporting children through play-based learning, daily routines and activities that promote their social, emotional and educational development.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children

• Knowledge of the Foundation Phase and early years development

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A 'can-do' attitude with the ability to adapt to the needs of the setting
