TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School based in Newcastle, who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher. The school provides a friendly and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The successful KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assessing pupil progress and maintaining a positive classroom environment that supports children of all abilities.

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1 in a UK Primary School

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
