Job Description

We are recruiting Night Shift Warehouse Operatives to work in a busy parcel sorting warehouse.

Your duties will include:

• Sorting parcels into the correct areas

• Loading and unloading parcels

• Scanning parcels using handheld scanners

• Moving and preparing parcels for dispatch

• Manual handling and regular heavy lifting

• Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving repetitive lifting and handling of heavy parcels throughout the shift.

Transport Available

We work closely with a trusted transport partner to support travel to and from work. Transport can be paid directly to the transport company on a daily basis.

• West Plaza, 144 High Street, West Bromwich, B70 6JJ

• 9 Holyhead Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B21 0LA

• 30 Fenton Street, Smethwick, B66 1HR

• 147 Great Charles Street Queensway, Birmingham, B3 3LP

Pick-up times are issued on a daily basis.

Pay

• £12.71–£15.01 per hour

• Overtime available

Requirements

• Able to cope with physical work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliability and punctuality

• Good attention to detail

• Basic English communication skills

• Ability to follow health and safety procedures

• Previous warehouse experience

• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems is beneficial

• Flexible approach to shifts and duties

• Able to work as part of a team

• No criminal convictions, as a DBS check will be required before starting work
