This opportunity is designed for graduates who already have teaching firmly on their radar and want to accelerate their classroom experience.

Rather than spending the year purely supporting lessons, you'll be developed towards planning, delivering and leading lessons yourself, with guidance from experienced teachers and subject leaders.

Graduate Unqualified Teacher – The Opportunity

• £26,000–£30,000 per annum
• Alternatively, an equivalent weekly rate of minimum £550 per week
• Full-time position throughout the 2026/27 academic year
• Work predominantly within your degree subject
• Support and teach pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Gain genuine experience leading a classroom
• Deliver interventions and small-group tuition
• Support GCSE pupils with examination preparation
• Develop lesson planning and curriculum knowledge
• Build strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Learn how to assess work and monitor pupil progress
• Receive mentoring from experienced teachers and Heads of Department
• Potential pathway towards teacher training and QTS
