KPI Education is recruiting ambitious graduates to join a high-performing London secondary school as Graduate Unqualified Teachers, starting immediately or during the 2026/27 academic year.

This is not simply a classroom support role.

Designed for graduates who are seriously considering a career in education, this opportunity will give you the chance to develop from supporting experienced teachers to planning, delivering and leading lessons of your own.

You’ll earn £26,000–£30,000 while gaining the practical classroom experience, confidence and skills needed to take the next step towards teacher training and Qualified Teacher Status.

From Graduate to Classroom Practitioner

You won't be expected to walk into a classroom on day one and teach a full timetable.

Initially, you'll observe experienced teachers, support pupils and small groups, and learn the school's curriculum, routines and behaviour expectations.

As your confidence and ability develop, your responsibilities will increase.

You could move from supporting individual pupils to delivering parts of lessons, leading small groups, covering classes and ultimately taking responsibility for planned lessons — all with guidance from experienced teaching professionals.

This is your opportunity to experience what teaching is really like while being supported to develop your own classroom practice.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are particularly interested in graduates from subjects including:

• Mathematics
• English
• Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• History and Geography
• Modern Foreign Languages
• Computer Science
• Business and Economics
• Psychology and related subjects

A 2:1 or First-Class degree is highly desirable, alongside strong subject knowledge and a good academic background.

Previous experience in a school is useful, but not essential.

What matters most is your potential.

You'll need to be confident, articulate, resilient and ambitious, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and build positive professional relationships with young people.

We're looking for graduates who are prepared to step outside their comfort zone, take responsibility and genuinely want to develop into excellent teachers.
