Location: Hybrid - Droitwich WR9
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a successful and established manufacturing business based in Droitwich.

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role where you’ll work closely with managers and employees, providing day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for HR administration, employee relations, manager coaching, probation management and ensuring HR processes are delivered consistently and in line with company policies and UK employment legislation.

The Role

As HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including starters, contractual changes and leavers.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation using the company HRIS.
• Ensuring HR data is accurate and up to date.
• Preparing HR documentation including contracts, letters and policy-related correspondence.
• Producing HR reports and supporting people-related metrics.
• Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations queries.
• Supporting managers with absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and conduct matters.
• Supporting investigations, meetings and associated documentation.
• Coaching managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• Managing and monitoring employee probation periods, ensuring reviews are completed on time.
• Providing practical first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Ensuring HR processes are compliant with UK employment legislation and company policies.
• Maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.
• Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to the review and development of HR policies, procedures and processes.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience working as an HR Advisor within a manufacturing environment – essential.
• Experience in a generalist HR role with strong knowledge across the employee lifecycle.
• CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification, or currently working towards one.
• Strong HR administration experience and excellent attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting first-line employee relations cases.
• Confidence providing advice and coaching to managers.
• Experience using an HRIS.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional, approachable and people-focused manner.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
• The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
