TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary school based in Chelmsford, looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide short-term support across KS1 and KS2.

The school is looking for an experienced and confident HLTA to start from October, working 25 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver planned learning activities, support pupils across the curriculum and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent

• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2

• Confidence delivering planned learning activities

• The ability to adapt resources to meet different learning needs

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, flexible and supportive approach

• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
