We are recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for practical, hands-on individuals to join their production team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in joinery, roofing, carpentry, or another practical trade who is looking to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

The business has grown significantly in recent years and places a strong emphasis on training, development and creating multi-skilled employees.

The Role:

• Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be involved in batch production and final assembly, using practical skills to build and complete products to the required standard.
• Carrying out final assembly of products using practical tools and equipment.
• Following drawings, instructions and production specifications.
• Measuring, assembling and fitting components accurately.
• Ensuring finished products meet the required quality and presentation standards.
• Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.
• Learning new skills and becoming multi-skilled across different areas of production.

Experience Required:

• Bench Joinery
• Roofing
• Installation work
• Furniture, door and window manufacturing background
• Good practical and manual skills.
• The ability to work accurately and follow instructions.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Rate Range: £13.50- £15.50 p/h, depending on experience
• Additional overtime incentives- paid at premium rates

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–5:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am–3:00pm
