TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Swansea. The school provides a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to engage with their education, develop their confidence and achieve their potential.

The school is looking for a Secondary School Teaching Assistant to support students across the secondary age range, with short-term, long-term, part-time and full-time opportunities available. The successful Secondary School Teaching Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support learning in the classroom, encourage student engagement and provide additional support where required.

The successful Secondary School Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• Experience supporting students within a classroom environment is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Good behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and a willingness to support students across the school
