Owen Payne Recruitment are now recruiting experienced Steel Production Welders to join their expanding team in the Bilston area.

If you’re a skilled Steel Production Welder looking to take the next step in your career, this 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

You will play a key role in assembling and fabricating mechanical components, products, and structures using a variety of tools and equipment—ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards within a leading manufacturing environment.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday
• 15:30pm till 01:30am

Rate of Pay

• £16.32 per hour + £100.00 weekly shift allowance 

Key Responsibilities

• Production Welding highway products and infrastructure to precise specifications and industry standards
• Safely operating overhead cranes to lift, position, and move materials
• Understand work plans & visual aids
• Have high standards of work and a good eye for detail
• Upholding strict safety standards and maintaining a tidy, organised workspace
• Preventive Maintenance of equipment to a high standard
• Flexible to work in other areas of the business as required
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Undertaking additional duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in Steel Production Welding - at least 2 years 
• Experience operating overhead cranes preferred 
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Solid understanding of Steel Production Welding safety practices and procedures
