TeacherActive is proud to be working with a public Primary School in Gravesham that supports pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds. The school places a strong emphasis on helping children become resilient, resourceful and independent learners within a positive and inclusive environment.

The school is looking to appoint an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant on a short-term temporary basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support learning, encourage pupil independence and help create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and supportive approach to learning
• The ability to encourage resilience, resourcefulness and independence in pupils
