Salary: £160 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming SEND school in South Birmingham, supporting children and young people aged 4 - 18. The school provides a supportive environment for pupils with PMLD, SLD, autism and complex learning needs.

The school is looking for a SEND Teacher to provide temporary day-to-day cover, delivering engaging lessons and adapting teaching to meet individual needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Teacher looking to develop their SEND knowledge while gaining valuable experience across different age groups and learning needs.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs is desirable
• An understanding of PMLD, SLD, autism and complex learning needs
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A patient and adaptable approach to teaching
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
