The OpportunityAn exceptional and rare opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-standing, independent small animal practice in High Wycombe. Deeply rooted in the local community, the practice combines modern veterinary healthcare with traditional values, delivering high standards of patient care alongside excellent, personalised client service. The team has a fantastic local reputation and prides itself on creating a fun, welcoming and supportive working environment. You will join a well-established team of around twenty vets, alongside experienced RVNs, trainee nurses, receptionists and a practice manager. The practice has a proven track record of supporting, mentoring and retaining new graduates, with no sole-charge work expected until vets have developed the confidence to work independently. Clinical DevelopmentThe practice is passionate about supporting its vets to develop their clinical interests and gain further qualifications. There is a wealth of experience within the team, including vets with certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology and dentistry, alongside several others working towards additional qualifications. The busy and varied caseload provides an excellent environment for certificate study, while individual clinical interests are actively encouraged and supported. Whether you are an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to broaden your skills or a vet keen to progress towards a certificate, you will have the support and caseload to develop your career. The RotaThe role is full time, working a four-day week, with a set weekday off each week.
